What was deluxe become debris, she never questioned loyalty...

Today is a very very sad day.
I have just come inside after clearing out my faithful car.
My beloved Toyota Carina 1.6 16v:

125,000 miles on the clock:

Flat head owl has been removed from his perch:

I rarely put a photo of myself up but this is an historic day:

Bye bye my love, we have had 10 great years together and I will never forget you. You never let me down, never broke down, passed MOT almost every time and took me to many places. Almost always at a consistent 90mph. Even though it was a little annoying having to pump up the back tyre every couple of weeks at the end.
I'm very sad and on the verge of tears, this is the end of the longest relationship I have ever had........

My mother is not crazy

Ah! What a lovely relaxing weekend by the seaside that was. Sadly it was back to work today.
Didn't do that much mind.

Anyway. Apparently this gauges my seven deadly sins propensities (thanks to Bob the Hippy):

Greed:High
Gluttony:High
Wrath:High
Sloth:High
Envy:Very Low
Lust:Very High
Pride:Medium

Take the Seven Deadly Sins Quiz

Well, I suppose at least I'm not that proud or envious. Good to see old Spunky is still a bit Lusty. I reckon they got the greed wrong and the gluttony. Can't deny the sloth.

I began writing down my trip to the US but go bored and forgot. Better finish off I suppose:

USA - San Francisco to LA

Still in SF we had to see the Golden Gate bridge, so we hired two bikes from Cannery Wharf. It was a fairly long ride and we decided not to take the ferry back because we knew we'd miss it.

Once back we had some clam chowder in a cob and viewed the sea lions at pier 39:
The next day, after we'd walked up and down all the hills and seen Nob Hill and all the other places we took a boat to Alcatraz:
Alcatraz was excellent, I sat on Al Capone's toilet.
We then took a streetcar home:
That evening we met Big Al and Nads and went the Castro (the gay area) for some big karaoke to celebrate me birthday. I did a rendition of Take On Me (to much acclaim)((comedy dancing rather than singing ability)). The next day we hit the road again and drove down the Californian coast to Cambria. There I saw this cheeky little fella:
After that we drove to Santa Barbara, very posh indeed, and had some excellent sushi and swam with a sea lion. And then we drove to LA for the final leg.....

He's a dirty old man, Nick the Chopper

Why do things I have done in the past always catch up with me?
Anyway! I have a new job. Can't be bad really.
People Wot Look Like Me VI
18) The Diet Coke Dude
Apparently if you cover the mouth up of this guy he looks like me.
Obviously I have a better body but.....
