The Tour de France is in Town
Yep folks! It sure is.
You may have been wondering what I'm up to, well......
A long story really, I may have told you all that I had been displaced from my last job?
Anyway, I was, which to be fair was a blessing as I hated it.
The bugbear was that I had a bad review hanging over me head from Joe 90 (who despite their best efforts to kick out got himself a new job). I had challenged this unfair assessment, but he refused to change it.
I then took it up with his boss (Captain Autism).
The good captain asked me to 'ask myself why I was doing this'.
Nice one! Thanks for the support.
There was no option but to raise an official grievance.
An unusual thing for one of my level.
Especially as the Union does not officially recognise any managers.
So I'm going through the hell of this whole informal and then formal process....
When I get offered two jobs on the same floor I'm already on.
Well, they're both good so I take one.
So I'm in a new job......and the new very senior manager tells me how much this whole process is stirring up the execs and doesn't reflect well on me.
Now I'm in a different place altogether.
I was hoping they'd make me redundant for being trouble.
But now I have a job I like.....
What do I do?
......................................
Only one thing to do.
Push ahead and carry on.
So I did.
And won.
And will now get a decent bonus.
Maybe I will pay for this.
But we all have our own levels of pride.
And honour.
I had to get one back on Joe 90 too!
Enough of me! The tour came past my road:
Here they are!
Whoosh!
And there they go!
That killed 3 minutes, so it's off the the Wharf to watch the Grand Prix:
Three montrous megaliths.
Brrrrrmmmmm!!!!!!!!
Ah! What a lovely Sunday.
